School Nurses Targeted By Wage Suppression Scheme

A health care staffing company pleaded guilty and was sentenced on Thursday for entering into and engaging in a conspiracy with a competitor to allocate employee nurses and to fix their wages.

During the conspiracy, that company was one of two primary providers of contract nursing services to the affected school district. According to their guilty plea, they, through one of their employees, participated in a conspiracy with another contract health care staffing firm to suppress and eliminate competition by agreeing to allocate nurses and wage fixing.

They chose, out of their greed, to take food out of the mouths of those tasked with monitoring the health of our children.

We should be building a better future for our children. Stiffing the people tasked with keeping them healthy is not the way to achieve this.
